Mystery plug & cut wires

Hi folks. Looking at the front left of my tank (2021 Standard Roadster R9t) and noticed an electrical plug with 2 yellow wires that seem to have been cut off. Anyone have any idea what the connector is for / what was wired in here once upon a time ?

sat nav , the plug has three yellow wires but you only need outer two for power , hence the middle one has been snipped off

If the two yellow wires are bare they are a switched live , if not in use I would unplug the white connector and tape up the connector or if you want to be posh you can buy the BMW blanking plug

Cheers Neil - yellow wires are cut just under my fingers in the pic. Found with a fold of black electrical tape over the wire ends so not the best bit of unwiring I’ve seen. Bike new to me so still finding the odd surprise on it here and there.

Its good to know it’s a switched live, may be useful at some stage. In the meantime I’ll take your advice and take the connector apart - plus tape it up. Blanking plug for the connector ! Whatever next
