N America maps - how to download to computer, not Zumo?

I've just bought the N America maps (not Canadia or Mexico) and Garmin wants to download to either the Zumo or an SD card - but I want it to go to my computer C drive! On the Garmin download screen on my puter I'm seeing

City Navigator® North America NT - Lower 49 States (1371MB) will be associated with the device below. Each download can only be associated with one device.

zūmo 660 - S/N xxxxxxxx (337 MB available) Insufficient Space Software updated needed

Select where to save the download:

zūmo 660 - S/N xxxxxxxx (337 MB available) Insufficient Space
SD Card (N (1879 MB available)

How can I get the maps downloaded onto my C drive please? Do I accept the download to the SD card, and then copy back to my C drive (will there be any "unlock" problems?)? Obviously I only want to have the N America maps loaded to the Zumo for when I'm going to the US - otherwise UK is my default map preference.

Seems the N America maps are only available to download to an SD card on the Zumo, and then I have to use BaseCamp for route development.

As I want to use Mapsource and my pc for route planning, I requested to get the maps on DVD.

But the N America maps are not available on DVD . . . . only download to SD

Refund coming. I guess I'll just use paper maps for my US holiday.
