N.E. Scotland Ride out Sunday 22nd March

Well it's due to be a nice warm weekend and the time is set for a 1230 meet in Lossie at either the Harbour Tea Rooms (which do Hot food I'm assured) or the Skerry Brae. Just waiting on final recomendation however the time will be the same.

Okay folks I can confirm that the venue will be the Harbour Tea rooms in Lossiemouth 1200-1230 as Skerry Brae needs bookings as its mothers day. Theres fine food at the Tea Rooms anyway so I'm looking forwards to it.
The only meeting point so far is Banchory Car park for 1000hrs and we'll pick up Odd Bod at Alford (I'll contact you for a place).

please let me knwo if you will be at Banchory so we can make sure we don't miss you.

See you all Sunday:thumb2

Andy, it seems i forgot that mothers day also applies to mums of newborns :blast Having remembered and checked that neither my mum or the outlaw wanted any fuss, i was then reminded that my wife (mum to our 18 week son) would like to do something and have since been made to feel especially bad as not only was i not remembering, but i was planning a bike trip with 'the boys'. Apologies to you and everybody else. Real shame as i was hoping to put miles on the Guzzi and put faces to names.

Hope to be on a ride out soon. Dave :)

Nae problems I could also do you a good deal on a mooring in the Lagoon!!!!

Just a note for anyone meeting up in Banchory coming over the Cairn o'mount - Its closed at the moment, don't know why but well worth checking before you head over. Better to come over the Slug road (Stonehaven Road).

Just an update for Sunday, was out tonight and checked the Cairn o'mount road and the diversion is gone so its open again. Meetin Banchory Car park at 1000 hrs for a 1015 depart, if you are very early you can get a coffee in the Subway by the traffic lights.
We are meeting OddBall at the Bridge of Alford at 1045.

We will be passing numerous distilleries including Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and very close to the CaCallan distillery, it will be hard not to stop for a sly one:rolleyes: I recon a few photo stops at the Thomaas Telford Bridge at Craigellagie and then on to Lossie Harbour Tea Rooms for Lunch.
