That's very damned decent of you :beerjug:

A bottle of Jager for me please :thumb2

you ..you..you...whisky snob..you....its 11 quid a bottle and is far nicer than grouse.

Well................. maybe, but I was in fact referring to the fact that the table will be full of single malts:)

Instead of Black Grouse I'd go for Black Bottle.

This little get together will be on Saturday 12th November at the Blackloonies Hall.

As usual, Bhud will look after us eats-wise for a modest sum (a meal at night and bacon rolls in the morning). The cost per head for your bed bed is £10 pp (to be paid to me asap) as I have to pay this up front. If you haven't been to the hall before (yer in for a treat :D), the beds are bunks and have duvets and pillows. You only need to bring yourself. Due to several female guests this time around, one of the bunkrooms will be a female dorm.

I'll pick up the hall keys at about 4 p.m. We all could meet for coffee or a bar lunch before that at the Bridge of Cally Hotel.

I was at the Strathardle Inn today for a bar lunch (very nice it was too) but they only open 12-2 during the winter.

Bridge of cally Hotel it is then if anyone wants to meet up before 4 p.m. (when the hall will be opened) :thumb2

I'm aiming to be at the Boc Hotel for some lunch about 2p.m.

I wont be getting the keys and opening the hall until 4 p.m so if you're not planning on a stop off at Bridge of Cally, don't plan on getting access to the hall until it's getting dark o'clock.

Oh, and remember and bring a decent glass for drinking your whisky out of. I know the hall has glasses but I'd hate anyone to be left sipping oot of an auld cracked vase :thumb2

Raise one for me. Wish I could be up there, but clients always seem to have different priorities. And as they're the ones (indirectly) paying for the whisky... :D

What a great night. So I heard anyway :D

The whisky was really top swallie. Special thanks as always to Bhud for his quisine which was excellent as usual. There was mention last night of it being a bit quieter than usual but Bhud's cracked ribs would maybe argue that :friday

I just hope someone tells me about it after.....

Aye, and it won't be me, I lost the last hour somewhere :blast

Cracking night, great dram and excellent grub:thumb:beerjug:

Two good quotes:

"It tastes so much better than it sniffs"

"Do you not swallow?" "Oh no!"

It was a cracker! Thanks to all.

Stu speewed all the way home. In all the years I have known him I have never seen him do that.

Another Blackloonies production - happy days

Fek.....

May have to raffle my whole supply to avoid that scenario....or was it your cooking he'll blame and not the booze...:D
