Glad you're ok.. Hope you get the bike back to normal soon..
Well done also, on not hitting the deck..

Rest in pieces, deer..

omg aint u glad u ride a beemer..............how you feeling today?

Holy moly....

Glad you got out of that in one piece and the bike damage doesn`t look too bad.....!!

Would be interesting to know the final repair bill and if there was anything seriously wrong with the bike.

Reminds me of the when I was riding through Idaho and a rancher told me:

If you hit an Elk, it`s so heavy it will kill you
If you hit a mountain lion, if it gets up it will kill you
If you hit one of my cattle, I`ll kill you:eek:

Gotta love the GS:D

Deja Vu, all over again...

Brings back memories of my deer hit in '82. I also didn't go down, but had some pretty mean "charlie horses" for a few days. Glad to hear you're okay. :thumb2

If the odds of hitting a deer are relatively slim, then hitting another one is even more unlikely, so sit back and relax, it's someone else's turn. :D

Here's mine... and a picture from where I hit it.

Nothing funny about this at all, but I burst out laughing when I saw your location...!

Glad you're OK.

Good humor here. That's why I love this forum.

Still don't know the outcome of the bike or the cost. Hoping the insurance covers all of it but we'll see. Some are thinking it may be totaled but I'm hoping for the best.

Just bought it in June so I'd hate to see it pass so quickly.

In the meantime I bought an F800S this weekend. What a great bike. One test ride and I was hooked. Should have never planned on being down to one bike. It leaves one without a backup.:blast
