Need some advice here. I have a 2001 1150GS single spark. I have just serviced which included changing the clutch fluid and fuel filter.

When warmed up I have a niose when I pull the clutch in which sounds like running a finger around a whine glass. I only need to apply light pressure to the clutch level....but no noise when cold. I suspect the thrust bearing which I understand is a bugger of a job.

Noise number 2....I noticed that the fuel pump is whining after start up...not noticed before...is the fuel pump on the way out?

I should add that the bike has only done 15000 miles (yes I know I need to get out more).

All advice welcome.

Cheers

Also think about slave cylinder. Not to much of a job, can be done by just removing rear shock.

As for fuel pump some do some don't. If it fails it was probably on he way out. if it doesn't then its probably no.
