Folks, tomorrow is National Green Lane Day, a day where Green Lane User Groups put in a little time and effort to maintain a Green Lane or two, helping to keep our ever-dwindling network of unsealed highways passable by motor vehicle, horse-back, bicycle or on foot, etc.
I'm off into Denbighshire with some CRAG members to cut back a small Unclassified County Road (with a nice 'little' ford in it) and a sticky Byway.
The Land Rover will be loaded with hardware, my flask of coffee, and Hobbes the dog, he does his bit!!
Are any other UKGSers out on similar sorties?
The CRAG folk post some before and after type pics on their website, so check it out if you have a spare five minutes.

I'll organise a run soon if anybody fancies a trail ride around the Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin area, to sample the delights of these lanes.
Timpo.

Busy tomorrow so I cannot join you but I would be up for something similar in the future
I am interested in a days green laning, I have a Klx now which is great off road but a bit slow on tarmac especially with a MX front tyre.

No problem...

Ok Hew, no worries as it sounds like there are 11 Land Rovers heading out to work on the two routes chosen in Denbighshire.
KLX is perfect for use on the Green Lanes. Keep an eye out for a posting from me regarding a run in the Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin area.

I had a little jaunt out with my LR earlier today and the lanes are in great condition for a run on the Pogos. I got a set of tyres to fit and front wheel bearings as a precaution, then I'm set for a blast out.
And, a mate of mine has just bought a right bargain, DRZ400, X reg, 4000 mile and it's in mint condition.............£1500. :thumb
It had been on Ebay but nobody bid. :nenau

There was a 52plate DRZ on my local forum for 1500quid and no takers mate.I think he eventually sold it to a garage who i would guess offered less than 1200??
