Nautilis horn diagram for GSA

Mmmm, being a bit of a elecnophobe (just made that up I think), would someone kindly pen an electrical diagram of the fitting of the Nautilus horn to an Adventure please? Brackets already made etc, just the lecky bits making my brain hurt!

True, but there's no reference to which pins to use on the relay and there's several choices.on the back of the box....and I fink i need a diagram. PLEASE! :)

Scan the Diagram and post it and one of us will work it out for you.

Col,

If you are not retaining the OE horn, it's the diagram on the bottom left of those on the box. (The one on the right is for 24v systems).

The diagram shows you which terminals to connect to on the relay. It does actually match reality. The terminals on the relay are identified on the top of the relay (opposite side to that with the terminals).

Pin Outs

Pin 30 = +V supply in 2.5mm cable

Pin 86 = Ground ( machine frame )

Pin 87 = + V to load in 2.5mm cable

Pin 85 = Switched positive ( from positive side of horn switch )

Thanks chaps. I think I've got it right but when I press the horn button, nowt?

The horn works though cos' I wired the bugger straight to the power source and nearly shat meeself! :D

When it works - God is it loud!!

Certainly makes owners of 4 - wheeled vehicles aware of your prescence.

And scares the crap out of daydreamers crossing the road!
