Nav 5 battery replacement

I think that I need a new battery for my Nav 5. The unit will neither switch on or charge. The battery currently fitted is dated 2016. Part No 361-00063-00, rated at 920mAh. An on-line search turns up a lot of suppliers and big differences in price. As I've been ripped off previously buying laptop batteries, I would appreciate a recommendation for a supplier and approx. cost.

Hi all,
It looks like the battery on my Navigator V is getting tired so having read various old threads I dropped Garmin support an email to see if I could get a replacement. I was somewhat bemused to get the response below after they told me my device was too old and batteries were not available and I had responded that I was surprised by this ....

The battery is detachable so it seems unlikely that it's not replaceable - or is it me
?
There are lots advertised on the Internet. They range from £78 to £20. As I said previously, I been ripped off before on laptop batteries so I'm a bit uncertain of what to buy.
I was just hoping that someone on the site has also changed their batteries and could offer some advice. Garmin don't seem to advertise them.

It might be worth calling Garmin. I have found them pretty helpful in the past.

In February this year I bought a replacement from garmin. Very straightforward at just £13. Works a treat
