Nav v can't seem to transfer a route onto the unit

"I got this with a new GSA, I've messed around with this now for two months I'm thinking of putting it in the bin,,, I've done my routes round Ireland for the summer but it will not put the routes on the unit, it will recognise the unit but when I transfer the routes over the computer will say not responding for about five minutes then it works, I've tried dragging the routes over that done the same but this time it's telling me they are on the unit but I can't find them,"

I got this as well the first time I ran basecamp it wouldnt transfer anything. The solution is not to have Garmin Express running at the same time as it takes priority over basecamp.
It worked for me
Mts

Thanks I try that

It strikes me that you have now tried so many things that it's impossible to tell where you are or what might have gone wrong.

I would start again from square one.

Delete and reload BaseCamp

Buy a fresh, good quality SD card. It doesn't need to be huge, just big enough to make sure it will do what you want it to do.

Work slowly and logically through all the things you want it to do.

Want to add a song? Work with just one song or a couple of albums.

Want to add a bit of map other than Garmin's own generic map? Add just one or two tiles.

Want to do something else? Don't try to do it all at once.
