Should I be able to adjust the volume of the SRC (Schuberth head set) via the control wheel on the handlebars ?

I find the voice prompts far too loud and the phone calls far too quiet.

Can someone who is less SATNav challenged advise.

TIA

As the wheel doesn't know about the head set, I doubt it (it doesn't know about my headset). There's no volume control on the Nav 5; any volume adjustment is done at the head set. Is your iPhone paired with the headset or the Nav 5? Recommended way is to pair the phone with the Nav 5.

The phone and headset are both paired to the Nav V

iPhone 5 with Sena SMH5 I only listen to music but scroll wheel does not adjust volume. The manual seems to indicate the volume can only be adjusted using the BMW Communication System.

The handle bar wheel volume adjustment is for BMW helmet blue tooth only!
To adjust the 'balance' go to setings on the nav then volume and you will find the ' balance' screen. Or just adjust the volume when the Nav is talking

From memory - if you go into volume on NAV5 and hit spanner there are volumes for each type of "noise" - here you can control volume of phone / media and nav prompts

Turn your Nav V on > The first page says "Where To?" and "View Map" and the volume button is at the bottom of the screen, press Volume >

Touch the spanner icon > Touch the "Audio Mixer" > The rest is self explanatory.

There's no volume control... apart from the volume control option on the front screen. Heck, I've only been using it for 18 months. Doh!

thanks guys, will look again on Sunday night just off to Sweden for a couple of days.
