I've recently acquired a Nav v...I have not used it on the bike in any situation which needs sound but I've used in in the car a couple of times and played about with it indoors.

I have been unable to elicit any sound from the device,it is not muted and the volume is on 60%.

Am I doing something wrong or may there be a fault with the unit :nenau

Thanks for any guidance.

Are you using the car kit? There is no speaker in the unit.

"A speaker and microphone are integrated into the car kit cradle to provide audio output as well as well as a hands-free phone feature"

Not using the car kit,I just assumed the Nav V had an external speaker the same or similar to the 660.

Many thanks for the info,I'll see if we can patch it into the Bluetooth in Jo's car.
