I have just bought a BMW Motorrad Navigator V (with a R1200GSA LC)
Is there any further info anyone can share with me to get the Tracker App to work in Facebook?
I have installed the Smartphone Link app on my Galaxy S6 and it pairs successfully with the Navigator. Under Accounts in the Smartphone Link app it automatically picked up my Facebook and Twitter accounts. I have ticked the Facebook account.
On the Navigator when going to Tracker this is what happens.
I open the app and select “Here I Am”
I select Facebook
I select a message (or type my own)
I get this message "Cannot connect to Facebook. Check your account status on your phone".
Then also when trying again I cannot reselect Facebook, I have to quit the app completely and go back in.
I did try sending it to me email address as well and that says “Sent Successfully”
But when clicking on the “View My Location” hyperlink I get an error "This site can't be reached monthly_rate_limit_exceed's server DNS address could not be found"
I also cannot find much information on what “Follow Me” , “Hide Me” ,“View” and Duration is about?
Could anyone please provide me with more information and assist to get this working.
