Nav Vi Update and now no jog wheel?

Hi,

I have searched but canot find anything.

As the title say's, did a softeare update.

Fitted the nav to the bike today after using in the car and.... Nothing, the jog wheel doesn't do anything?

Anyone else had this?

Are you stilll in car mode?
I don't have the nav but have a Garmin 390 and that can swap from one to the other

Check, and clean, the contacts on both the sat nav and the bike cradle. When they get grubby, all sorts of add things happen.

I had the same issue, did the software update again and it cleared it.

I have a nav v and that did the same thing mid ride today after a software update. Luckily I was going to the open day at CW motorcycles and the guys down there sorted the problem.

How did the guys 'sort the problem'. That's what guys will need to know.

I have reinstalled the maps and all is good.

I believe it was a hard reset and reloaded all things again. Fixed it whatever they did!

Another triumph for the software engineers at Garmin

They don't half keep you on your toes

I like Garmin and have had five of their products in total and each has been handicapped by the crappy software with increasing regularity the more recent the product.
