Hi , I'm struggling to get my nav6 to talk to my head set!.
I can connect head set to TFT & get a voice telling me it's connect to my head set & I have the one helmet icon on the TFT but when I have the nav6 running a route I can not get any voice coming out my head set.
I've tried all the settings on the nav6 mute on , mute off & had the icon with the lips with the x & lips with out the x but still no joy.
What am I doing wrong ?.

If I connect the nav to my head set with out changing the TFT to the nav setting it works & I can hear the nav talking, but then I'm unable to use the wonder wheel to control the nav which doesn't bother me that much but would be nice to have if I'm just doing something obvious,
Thanks,
Ian.

I think I follow what you’re saying. The voice from the Nav does not come through the bike, it’s completely independent. You will not get anything unless the headset is connected directly to the Nav.

Way it should be set up I think is:
Phone to TFT
Headset to TFT
Headset to Nav

I’ve found it a bit troublesome so I generally don’t connect my headset to the TFT.
Cardo Packtalk Bold by the way.

I recently posted up a YT video on the connection order.
Have a search and follow that.

maybe below will help. not so much my blurb bit the video might help

Quick update don't ask me how but some how I've managed to connect everything and can now get nav 6 voice directions to my headset which I was struggling with before . I have even managed to get the speed limit thingy in the little box showing in the TFT . I was so surprised that everything had connected so I decided to disconnected everything and made shore it wasn't just a one off , but glad to say it all connected OK second time round.
Thanks for all the replies.
Ian.

When using RT's with TFT's, I just fit my Nav6 to the cradle, Bluetooth connect it to my headset directly. Seems to work every time.

Yes I found that out , I tried all configurations & found out like you if I link my head set to the nav 6 it will give me voice directions .
If I connect the headset to the tft using the one helmet setting some time's it works & sometimes it doesn't.
Also if I go out of Bluetooth range like filling up with petrol I have to go through the tft setting to get it to re connect,
