Garmin Streetpilot III I think. The leads pictured are the power (4 pin round) and audio (mono jack plug) leads and the red box under the seat is probably a ground loop supressor to prevent electrical interference in the audio signal from the GPS to the autocom.

here's the red box, Ive also found another audio lead by the handlebars, music maybe ?

The red box is definately for the gps audio. \if you just use a jack to jack lead you gets loads of interference.

The other lead could be phone or radio, depends what its plugged in to. |If you go to Autocom website you can download a pdf of the manual and check which socket is for what input.

Can anyone confirm this answer from Pigglet ?

I'd agree the power lead and audio look like SP3, but then they're going to be the same as other Garmin units of a similar age :( The bracket has a locking screw that also looks like the SP3 one.

Can you borrow a SP3 / Colour Map to try?

Ummm, Nope , but I'm sure you're right, gonna have a punt for a cheap one on e-bay

thanks

The mount is for a Garmin Streetpilot 111 and the red box is a splitter so two 3.5mm jack plugged devices can be routed into the same input, I believe phone and GPS.

If you want rid of the red box let me know? I'm in need of one.:beerjug:

The Mounting bracket and leads are definitely for the SP III/BMW Navigator 1

If I were you I'd become a site sponsor by clicking on the link at the yop of the page and then put a wanted ad in the for sale section. Much safer than ebay, especially if your a bit unsure about what you need:thumb
A guy at work recently bought a quest 1 with CN V6 loaded off ebay that supposedly came with CN V8 for £150:eek: He discovered on recieving it that although it came with the V8 DVD there are no unlock codes with the unit, not even for V6:blast
If you don't know what I'm on about, ask.... and stay away from fleabay :D
