Navigator 2 cradle broken.

Does anybody have an old or broken motorbike mounting cradle for a Garmin 26/27/27XX or Nav 2/3 unit ??

Today I found the securing bar of the cradle a bit tight when trying to insert/remove the GPSR. Then the damned securing bar (the red bit with the security screw) snapped apart where it enters the cradle.

I phoned Garmin and spoke to some foreign sounding guy who pointed me to Google with the part number for a new cradle. Before I go shelling out the readies for an entire cradle just to get a new securing bar sub-component, has anyone got a scrap cradle they want to sell ??

The Garmin 26xx /27xx etc cradle part number was 010-10495-00 (cradle and power lead) then options were 010-10495-01 (cradle only) and 010-10495-02 (power lead only).

Its a start .. assuming you get the other bits you need

Thanks Ram-Man,
I called Garmin who gave me those numbers and advised me to buy a new mount or contact BMW. Only £35 for a plain Garmin mount, or £174 for the BMW item with buttons etc.

I went to Bahnstormer Motorrad today and Simon in the parts dept kindly gave me the part I required free charge as they had on old cradle lying around.
