NAVIGATOR 4 or 5?

Now the proud owner of my 1st GSA, a 2013 90th edition.
I need to purchase a navigator.The mount is for a 4 with no handlebar wheel controller
Would i be better sticking with a 4 or should i go for the 5?
I do a lot of custom routes and want to import GPX files. I also want the on screen display for speed etc.
Any help appreciated.

As no wonder wheel what about zumo 590? Far superior bit of kit.. And cheaper

I agree, even a 390 would be half the price and do as good a job.

Cheers for the info. Got a nav 4 for £250 so now need get it connected.

It's there a way to link the gps with the phone for calls via the headset and have music on the phone direct to the headset without going through the gps?
I've tried linking the audio via the gps from the phone and can't get it to work. AAny help appreciated
