Navigator 6 removal from BMW cradle on GS

Has anyone had issues with removing the Navigator 6 satnav from the cradle because the latch is not retracting enough when release button pressed?

I would try the unlocking mechanism first. I had a little trouble on my 2022 GSA getting the locking mechanism to move far enough when I first got it.

I used to have a problem with mine when I had that bike with that cradle on but I used to spray with silicon, Mr Sheen or something similar just to get the thing moving fully.
