I'm on to my second Navigator II and I think i'm going to need a third. On both units, in direct sunlight...i.e. when i'm travelling north, I get a line across the middle of the screen which grows depending on exposure, making it near impossible to read the map. It looks as if there is moisture behind the screen.

I've not got them really wet, only riding through drizzle, and i've not drenched them in petrol or anything like that. I've only had this model a couple of weeks and the line showed up prior to riding through rain.

Here is a not so helpful picture to demonstrate:

Has anyone had any similar experiences? or advice?

I got exactly the same on my 2610 after Princetown on the way home, however it went after about 30 minutes of riding in dry sunny weather.

Hard to pin point but you need to be taking more photos as proof I would suggest.

Let me know how you get on and I will keep and eye on mind too.

Have not seen what you mean, but printscreen takes the active screen into memory and then you can paste it anywhere you like...

I willbe following your trip by the way, have a good one...
