Navigator v battery problem

Hi guys

My Navigator seems to have developed a problem. It keeps on rebooting when plugged into USB cable, and the battery is wasted. Obviously it still works in the cradle, but the unit becomes very hot in and out of the cradle.

Strangely enough, the battery remains cold. Almost like the unit is working overtime for some or other reason and the battery can't keep up. Maybe not even the battery?

This just happened one morning without any warning signs or nothing. Anyone had this problem in the past? Can't seem to find any leads on any other forum regarding this issue. Thanks, Johann

If it's plugged into USB it won't be using the battery will it? It will take power from the USB? Try removing the battery or a hard reset to clear the fault condition. Call Garmin - very good service.

When plugged in on USB it doesn't use the battery, but the battery keeps on charging, without really charging. I have removed the battery, but that did not help.

Also did a hard reset without any positive result. Lodged a warranty claim, will see what comes from it
