Navigator4 Zumo660 BMW Mounting Bracket

New to this forum,just wondered if anyone had advice or experience of fitting the BMW bracket with the over centre cam married up with the cradle for the nav4 on a 12GSA.I have all the parts that BMW supply but the knurled nut on the back of the bracket sits high/proud and looks as though it will damage the cradle when all parts are tightened up.Anyone any experience of this?

The knurled nut on the older brackets are taller than the current one. I just used two strips of plastic to pack it out.
