Help,
As I don't have any patience, and alcohol is rapidly taking hold. Why is it that I can't get thid thing to accept postcodes. How am I meant to write it in. With a gap, without. I seemed to have tried all options. Also I can't even get the thing to recognise ROMSEY as a place.

I too experienced teething problems when I first had mine.

Try to ensure ALL uk maps have been downloaded from the disk provided, and ensure the region is highlighted first before you use it.

I'm sure with perseverance you will get the hang of it.

I use mine all the time; going to Europe next week on a motorbike tour, and would be lost without. Very worrying...

Same here, girlfriend took it back to the shop, it needed resetting.
I was hoping she would buy the Garmin Quest, but beggars can't be choosers. Is there a handlebar mount available for it?
At the moment it is in her car, so I can't see it, but it didn't strike me as being waterproof, suppose if she let's me borrow it, I could buy one of those tank bag things.
