Navman or Garmin?

Does anybody have any experience of the Navman 5...range of GPS? I like the idea of the slightly bigger screen, but obviously down side is it is not wateproof like the quest.

But i presume you can fit one of these in a Peli case or similar i'm sure thats what they are called? Anyone done this, i have seen these with PDA type systems?

And finally does the 850GS have the spare wiring under the tank for GPS power like the newer models?
