Ahh well, there’s your problem. Putting them American litres in will never work. Litres are what you need.
Keep at it. You’ll get there and please let us know what it was that stopped it.

I’m giving up in defeat. Is going to a dealer. I’ll let you know what they tell me. The bike is 40 miles away from me and my brother and his son just want it running. JJH

Good luck , I hope your dealer average person is better than my "local" experience .... better if I keep my thoughts to myself on that one. Basic common sense and experience is what is required ... both in short supply.

Thanks. I spent a few hours on it yesterday chased a few red herrings but there’s a history of theft with the bike. Apparently they’re easy to steal so I’ll leave it to the experts. I’ll let you all know the results. Thanks for the input. JJH

Does the fuel pump prime when the ignition is switched on? Is it a DCT model and not in neutral?

Yes you can hear the fuel pump doin its thing and no it’s not an auto. I’m thinking that the easy start would have run the bike anyway. JJH

Cam or crank sensor failed

the engine dosent know where it is in relation to its timing & fuel map , so isnt starting to protect the engine

its a honda, get the blink codes and see if anything is logged

how are they "easy to steal"? they have the Honda HISS system like all other hondas
