Cool, just checked my rosta and I'm off from the 20th Nov - 1st Dec Any idea what day you are thinking of going......

So you will be at three shows that I goto AND you will ignore me at all of them

If needs must! Its a tough job but someone has got to do it, maybe if you don't walk past all sheepish like I might actually get to say hello proper, better still come on to the stand as a customer

am up in Scotland the weekend before.

I'll be going if I can blag some free tickets. It's definately not worth the entrance fee and I'll be taking a packed lunch.

But I know a nice route that isn't motorway, so even if the show's crap the ride out blows the cobwebs away

Would you mind sharing the route with me? I normally go up the A34 and then motorway the rest, not exactly inspiring!

Ticket for the preview day arrived today. It's getting closer.

I'm going on 5th (Nov) and staying 2 nights-same as last year.

Will spend all day at show on 6th,and will have time to pop next door to the cycle show which is linked in with the motorcycle show.

And 2 nights is perfect for having some of the best pizza/pasta in the world and a bottle or 2 of vino.

I could get a cheap flight with BA but not a confirmed seat for £54 all in !!

Now, if you were talking of riding out for these dates that would be cooler ! Calais to Mulhouse on Swiss boader, day one (550 miles). Mulhouse to Milan day two (can't remember mileage but less than day one ) ! Show .... two days, returnm, repeat, everyones a winner !!!!!!!!! What say you guys ?

I looked into it ... with my BA miles, it still cost me about the same as your easyjet ticket.

Then there is the one night in Milan. I can't find anywhere cheap enough ...

So even with expensive burger .. NEC is only going to cost me just under the price of the plane ticket

November ! Rain, Cold ! Not on the 'con.ti.nont' !! I went down to Lands End and back (to Kent) in a day last November with a NUTTER called Sani (don't know if he's still around, think he buggered off to the Iron Butt crew) so a jolly down to Italy will be a breese. Just need the days to do it in. Luckily, the boss at work is the wife (God, I love that woman)! Soooooo, might be able to wangle it ! Would be cool to meet up at show, share digs (cost's etc.) ? What say you guys ?

Intermot Cologne is pretty damned special too and even closer and dare I say cheaper an event - you may catch me at both Intermot and NEC if you're really unlucky

I,ve been looking at intermot but seems too pricey getting there and back again.

also don't really know if it's doable in a day; probably an expensive overnight stay required.
