Visited the show today with the intention of buying after market plastics for the 1200 and found that there was none available.
Pyramid and Powerbronze said that they would have a fpont mudguard extender ready for next season (whenever that is) and a rear hugger pos late next.
In both cases they had more requests for 1200GS parts than anything any other bike make.
I think they will both mis the boat because we will have baught elsware by then.

Wrong bike show..........wrong month

You should have gone to Intermot @ Munich in Sept.........if you wanted plastics for your 1200GS

Then you'd have seen stands full of bits for GS's from Touratech/Wunderlich/Boxer Design/Wudo et al

You won't see anything at the NEC unless its for a Yama/Kawa/Suzi/Hon XTYXRS???????????

Hi Chaps,

well Johnnyboxer I was most impressed with the Scorpion exhaust can that was displayed on an R1200GS and the custom seat on the Baglux bike was very smart.

Several weeks ago I purchased an extender unit for my front mudguard from William's in Manchester but God knows who makes it! It was a good fit, cheap and does a great job in keeping crap off the bike. Still need to decide on a hugger!

There wasn't much there really... :( I was hoping to find some new cool stuff to buy... but no luck... :(

Did see a "professional" abuse his position tho... "Come over 'ere 'luv.... this is 'my' bike, can you just pose over 'ere and I'll take a few pictures, I'm a pro you know.... " Or something to those tunes ;) ;) :D :D

Very nice to meet you Reggie!!! :D

Reggie,

I'll send the pics off right now - thought I left your card at home, but I recalled that I did take it with me! :beerjug:

Where's your hat??

Reggie,
you would stand more chance with that young lady if you wore that very fetching furry Norwegian hat.

Hi Lyndon,

I've jst been shooting at a local firework display and wore the hat! No one commented other than to say 'The Cameraman's here'. Oh well they must be getting used to me!
