I have the audio output lead from the SPIII wired into my autocom. We want to "extend" and adapt" that lead to use a minidisc using the existing wire.
I think the SPIII has a 2.5mm socket, the minidisc has 3.5mm socket.
So I need either an adaptor to increase a 2.5 to 3.5 male, or a lead with a 2.5 female end and 3.5 male end. Any ideas?
TIA Dave

Dave, the lead out of your SP3 should really be one of autocoms leads thats got either a grey five pine on the other end or a 3.5 mm plug. It has a bit of balancing circuitry in the cord. Gives you the option to plug into the aux ( grey ) plug on your autocom or plug the 3.5mm into the music socket. Autocom also make a 2 into 1 lead. This is the set up I use. SP3 lead with 3.5mm lead into the doubler and also my mp3 plugged into the doubler. Then the lot is plugged into my music socket.
Hope that makes sense, if not I'm in Princetown next weekend and you can have a look.
