Need a standard seat for R1200GS 2005

Hi all,

Recently bought a R1200GS but it has the lower seat on it. I'm 6'4 so I need to source a standard seat. I take it it's just a straight swap and no modifications were needed to install the lower seat? Does anyone know?

With regards to sourcing the seat I also assume it's just the front and not the pillion that needs changing? Again, if anyone could enlighten me I'd be grateful.

My almsost final question is where is the best place to source the seat? ...and my very last question is does anyone want to buy a low seat for a R1200GS 2005, in good nick? I'm based in Gloucestershire.

The seats are a straight swap. Even the adventure seat will fit though it might not look ideal on a GS.

Yeah, mines standard, I'm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire

I'm a sort arse and been on holiday just seen the thread and missed out here. Im 5'7 and got a standard seat on my 1200gs I've had for a few weeks. If anyone else is near Hertfordshire and wants a standard seat, I'd like a low seat. To be fair my one could probably do with a recover if you want A1 condition.
