Bought and fitted.
Yes it's big and square. It will take 2 full face kids with ease and still leave room to squeeze a jacket in as well. comparing it to my old givi maxi 42 litres the external dimensions of height, width depth are probably very similar but because it is square there is more room in it.

Build quality is what you would expect from Givi, very good but it must be pointed out that it is still a plastic box with a bit of aluminium screwed to the top.

My mate did say that it's a lot more in keeping with the style of the bike than the old one however.

Overall I a very pleased with it. It cuts down on the number of times I have to fit the panniers which is a good thing as they seriously affect your ability to filter.

Had a trk46 and replaced it with the 52 litre version.

The 46 will not take two full face helmets , the 52 litre one will take a size 60 Schuberth C3 and a size 55 C3 plus gloves , sat nav and body belts when off the bike .

It is a big box but very useful , when touring I can get all my camera gear, documents, overnight travel clothes , kindle etc in the box meaning I only have to remove the top box on the ferry.

Still not as big inside as my old E52 Maxia

Belated thanks for your advice.
I have bought the top case and have been using it for a while now.not a great build quality but very practical.its a pity zega dont do someting in that size!!!!
I came across a biker in annecy who had his broken into, apparently the thief opened the box very quickly and nicked the two helmets with out a bother.
Some food for thought.
Thanks to all again,
Ken

Hi, has anyone who fitted one of these boxes also got the BMW panniers. If so does the top box obstruct opening the panniers at all?

Thank you, ps sorry to resurrect an oldish thread.

Sent from my iPhone with a smile :)

If the bike has the bm raising plate fitted then the adventure pannier lids will open no trouble
