Garmin very kindly replaced my Zumo 550 with a unit that has CN Europe NT 2010.10 maps. Trouble is, the maps on my PC are 2008.

Is there anywhere I can download the DVD image? Obviously I would have no problems with unlocking the 2010 maps in Mapsource as I would just hook up the Zumo.

If Garmin supplied the system have you looked at the available downloadable mapping on your myGarmin account. They may have enabled City Nav 2010 for you there or is that just wishing for too much :nenau

I'm sure if it isn't you could give them a ring, explain, and I reckon that they'd enable a nuMaps Onetime download for you. After all they sent you the GPS with mapping that you can't plan routes for on your PC. Gotta be worth a try surely...

Hi Tim

The best is to buy Nu Lifetime maps which you download up to 4 times per year. the link is:
http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us/maps/numaps-lifetime
Price is £74.99

Garmin have just released 2011-2.
To upload the complete updated maps you will need to say load Western Europe on Garmin. Secondly, Transfer the complete Europe Map to your PC then you can add any further region you want either to your SD card, or to main drive depending on size.

This is good value if you want to keep updated.

Would a copy of 2010.30c be any good? I saved to file and then ran this update. It's 3.7gb so don't know if it could be e-mailed.

Edit, just re-read the OP, doh!
