Hi Guys,

I wonder if you can give me some information on the above SD card.
We are on holiday from NZ and used the Zumo 550 in the UK with no problems but since arriving in france there are no maps showing on the screen, just a few miles into france.
When I bought the card some time ago in preparation for our trip I assumed that it contained maps for the whole of Europe but obviously not so if any of you could shed any light on this it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

there may be a way around it but you can't receive PM's so i can't explain as it's not something to post in an open forum

Thanks for your replies guys, I guess I was misled into thinking that because it says Europe on the SD card thats what it contains.
As we only have a week left before we leave France I guess we shall just have to revert to using maps again, but theres no doubt about it it's so easy with a GPS.
How do I go about being able to recieve personal messages ?

cheers

Jim

Thanks for that, I tried to subscribe in an internet cafe but the french keyboard and the language on paypal had me beat me being a bit of a computer dummy so I will wait until I get back home and do it from there.
Have been seeing a lot of GS's around in Provence and it's really making me jealous, must ship the bike over for a tour one of these days.

Cheers

Jim

Would love too but unfortunately the Pacific and Atlantic and Indian oceans are in the way and dont have enough time to do a "Long way round "

I know what you mean, I've used keyboards in various places and some have real quirks compared to the UK ones, the worst bit is when the @ or . are somewhere else and you need to know the key strokes to get at them.
