Hello guys

I'm heading to North Cape and then onto Russia end of next week.

Can anyone give me some info on how I can get a russian translated V5 certificate to make things easier at the border crossing?

Cheers for now

would not bother, the commies will only read it and still muck you around. Plus if it's in a language they can't read you can always argue (sorry discuss it) in such way to suit your desire....

have a safe trip take loads of pictures it's a route I'm looking at, look forward to the ride report.

I would disagree with that I'm afraid ... it was the one document that helped us sail through the border crossing of Russia, Mongolia and the Stans. 'They' were more interested in the translation of the V5 than they were in our passports ... 'cos they could understand it ;)

I would think that the Commies would understand Russian ...

Agree with your second paragraph though :thumb

Well, sounds like I should maybe contact RAC just incase - had a look on their website but don't seem to find what I'm looking for - will give them a bell tomorrow.

Will definately send out a report once I'm back from Scandinavia and Russia as this is my last trip in Europe and would I have covered the whole lot.The plan is to head accross to Vladivostok, via Mongolia possibly and then down to Oz and so on.....

Thanks again for all the info guys
Safe travels
