Can someone please identify the starter button and ABS isolator from this lot please

Is the ABS thingy the red button on the headlight?

And where is the gear indictor located?

All early BMW's have ABS permanently engaged. There's no chance of locking the brakes at all.

Why did they ever stop fitting the orange superballs on the ends of the handlebars.

What is this obsession with brakes. Boats dont have brakes and some of them are bigger than a small country others can go far faster than an airhead and none of them have brakes.
The driver bloke just plans ahead drives to the conditions and stears around the obsticle
