Do you still have the screen or are they still available? That would compliment the leg shields perfectly
That's a "Tri-Point" screen.
Sold with the bike in 1973 when I moved from my parents' house in Somerset to a top floor flat in Edinburgh
Something like it will be available today - Motorworks and Motobins used to have a good selection of screens for BMWs.
Time to order one before April 1st

It looks like it has just rolled out the factory gates this morning with all the best extras fitted. Kevan you are going to be very happy when you collect next weekend.Previous owner was real BMW enthusiast who was selling off his entire collection as his new wife did not like bikes. Proff in his usual tactful way, told the chap to keep the bikes and ditch the new wife.
Then he showed us some of his other bikes for sale and we began fighting over who got what.
Proff is having the R75/7 RS with a mere 225,000 miles on the clock ("just nicely run in") and I'm having the very original 1980 R100RS.Still got room in the shed for a few more.
Just got home.....
Packers bike is now safe and sound in Sids workshop....
It is indeed a beautiful specimen of the ilk.
No restorartion, everything is genuine apart from the stainless zorst system.
Will be prepping it for it's journey home....during next week...
Sid "thinks" he is getting R100RS but I might fight him for it..
The R75/7RS that used to commute daily from Poole to Bristol and back for 10+ years is another really nice airhead
R75/7 is a model much undervalued and only made for 1 year>>became R80/7..

Long shot, but these might make a screen which could be made to fit, I had a huge one on an F650, just attached to the bars, but worked a treat.

Yes, R60/2 US, one of the last. Only 961 "/2'S" were made after this one. 18,000 miles, believed to be genuine, from new. Big tank, sofa saddle, tele forks and period accessories. mmmmmm. I really fancied an Earles fork bike but this was such a gem. I may put a set of Earles on it and keep the teles in storage. I'll try this one and see if I can cadge a run on an Earles equipped /2 for comparison before I make my mind up.

. A run would be great but I still have the 1150 in a pile of bits It was supposed to be a winter refurb but the hassle of dealing with the engine and gearbox corrosion has kind of slowed things down a bit.Still awaiting a long list of bits from MC West as well, I must chase them up.

They were designed for laptops Ian, long but narrow. It will also help to keep them off the ground when I get my knee down on some nice twisties.

I know what you mean . . My 1150 GSA has corrosion on the front forks & yokes - I must do something about it this year

Are you going to Kinlochleven for the pre '65 two-day trial at end-April ?? I must sort the carburation on my 100GS before then (two-year-old fuel probably isn't helping
