I have a Drift and the remote has a velcro strap that I put around the hand guard so it sits on the inside and can be operated by my finger and keeps out the rain

This is the best i can come up with at the moment. The velcro strap is too long (meant for a wrist) hence why I've had to wrap it over the face of the remote. I can still push the strap (as the button is located directly behind it).

I wrap mine round the brake or clutch reservoir, depending on which bike.
