Just been fortunate enough to have spent the day riding about 200k around Morrocco on the new bike along with umpteen others. I've done plenty of offroad with my 2007GS but riding the new one with gizmos allowed it to make mincemeat of situations that I'd have struggled with on mine. The "A" team we certainly pushing the bikes to the limits and no one encountered any worrying behaviour. If you like the old one I reckon you're gonna love this.

This might be video of you and your pals
Looks good
I wonder how many of the bikes being picked up on the first day will see these kind of roads?

The bash plate on the new bike has no rubber mounts, just some sort of sacrificial metal arms. I dont know if that's good or bad, i.e. are they springy or spent after one bash![]()
