Hi, I have recently upgraded to cable now it has reached my village (BT openreach).

The BT modem is in the hall with a Netgear N300 wpn2200 wifi router attached.

I live in a bungalow and with the old ADSL it was easy to run a thin phone cable to the centre of the property and I had good wifi (but slow internet) in every room.

Speed has improved but range is too poor to use Netflix etc on TV.

I do not wish to run an ethernet cable and know I can buy powerline adaptors. However, I have a second brand new wpn2200 that I could use as a range extender / bridge (if this is possible).

I can not find a simple answer for this. Do the WPS buttons help?

Thanks
Gerry

Doesn't look like you can with that model, probably because it is a gateway / firewall. It is usually only access points that can act as a range extender.

Cheers Marki_GSA, I will go the powerline route.
