Never lose your bookmarks again - use del.icio.us
http://del.icio.us is something of a revlation when you use it for the first time and it clicks into place exactly why this is such a cool site. What it offers is the ability to bookmark and categorise your favourite web pages. It then goes on to give you really neat ways to group them together. It is free to use, all you have to do is register.

At first glance all you see is a list of bookmarks in reverse chronological order.
Now look at the right side of the page at the "Tags." The best way to view these is to click on "View as cloud". Now you will see that all the "tags" or categories that I have applied to my bookmarks have been grouped together (by me) under a number of subheadings. The darker/larger words are ones with more pages assigned to that tag e.g. BMW or Accessories. Choose sort by freq to make this clearer.
Now click on any tag and you will see only the bookmarks with that tag. Click the + sign to combine your search for multiple tags e.g. bmw then + next to dealer. When you look at your bookmarks you can see how many other people have bookmared the same page. You can then click through to the list of people and get a look at their bookmarks.
To make it easier to save bookmarks or view your bookmarks you can add the del.icio.us buttons to your browser - there is a very nice Firefox extension for del.icio.us
It all sounds much more complex than it is. Once you "get it" it becomes second nature and completely indispensible.
