New 1200 A panniers

At least after you have done all the work required - took me about 2 hours yesterday.

The arse end of my ADV is now identical to my old 1200.

the ADV case and the holders fit on the standard GS. So it should work the other way too.

There!

I saved the Pannier Mounts from my 12GS, bought the rear rack for £137. I have a GIVI box already so all I need now is a 12GS GIVI mount & I'll have my 3 piece suite back again.

That's what I'll be doing then.

I guess the silencer is the same dimensions i.e. the left pannier has the same clearance as standard 1200 ?

Dealer grumbled a bit but I guess they cost him less to replace than me to acquire.

If anyone's interested I have the parts list for the rear luggage carrier - the main bit & all the little gubbins for fitting.

Clearance around the pipe seems to be identical. Panniers, if anything, fit a bit better than before - less wobbly.
