New 12GS's - October Delivery

I just got back from the K1200S launch at South London Motorcycles, where I also left my deposit for a new GS. Although too early for me, they announced that they have managed to secure a number of new 12GS's for October delivery, but I imagine you better get in quick.

I went along to Prestige in Bexleyheath this morning to check out the K1200S as well and they have a red GS1200 in the showroom ready for its first owner immediately...

My due date 30 October, deposit only put down 2 weeks ago.

I have also just got back from the dealers,and he told me I could have one in three weeksHe said bmw had brought another 200 units in for this years alocation.I could have any colour/wire or alloys.So until I have riden the 12s and convinced myself I don't really want go forward that quick when I twist the throttle a fraction,I stay undecided as to what one I want Oh and they had a set of panniers on it also they have got to be a joke.Andy

Hmm...... I was told on Friday that the delivery of my 1200 that I was promised in October/Early Nov has now slipped to December at the earliest !!!!

BMW UK has 200 extra 1200's methinks they may have hijacked an antipodean shipment

And to think the Aussies helped you win 2 world wars !!!

They're quoting that they have one for a 1st October delivery. BTW I am not connected with them, have received no payment for this post, and wont be going for the bike myself.

I know because I'm on their e-mail news letters.
