Why is every second word in the BMW vocabulary 'Dynamic' it's just an adjective for 'we're trying to get our act together'

the only thing ive come across that wont fit is end cans,i had a 08 gsa with akra end can,took it off when i traded for the s1000rr,to put on my 2010 gsa that im gettin 1st of march but i was informed by a very nice after sales manager at ssb
that they dont fit as there's a valve in the link pipe doh!but was told it is slightly louder than b4 anyway.I'm about to order one too and was checking with my dealer today about what will fit from my old 1200GS
Apart from the silencer as mentioned by hazzy, and my touratech fog brackets, everything else seems to be a straight swop

The engine guards are different, they are smaller top box and panniers are the same

Well done lads, ive got the 08 one and have just had a test drive at chester on saturday on the new one. Like they say in the MSN it feels a lot quicker through all the gears and makes the bike feel lighter and more agile. I think a very good inprovement on the old one..
May do the deal next week
Has anyone got the new coms system yet? would be nice to know if it works ok..

That's odd because when I bought my 09 GSA from Jeffries the previous owner had removed the Akra to transfer to the 2010 bike he'd just ordered....Jeffries told me it was only the headers had changed after the cat, the can was the same

Nope went for standard. Couldn't see the need TBH
The reason I ask is that I found that I could not achieve a safe hill start on Hardnott Pass two-up with luggage with the standard box on my 1150GS so fitted the FD from an 850GS - thus dropping the gearing by 13%.

I did. Pick it up April to ride back to Crete. Thought low gear would be useful on dirt mountain roads.

Alpine White? how did you manage that when the choices are grey or yellow?
