...as per the title.

I've had apple computers for twenty years. On my fourth iPhone. Currently on iPhone 4gs. I bought the girlfriend an iPad Air for Christmas and was able to download a few apps to her iPad after signing in with my Apple ID.

I bought an iPad mini earlier for me. It's lovely and I like it a lot but it does not see my previous purchases. Grr. Annoyed.

I might still be signed into the iPad Air but am posting here to see if there might be a we'll known reason why I can't see my previous purchases... They amount to a hundred euro to replace... Advice and help very much appreciated!

Mmm, just a time lag. I should be a wc owner.

Sent from my nerd device with a beer.

I don't know a great deal about apple products but I use an iphone and ipod classic for all my CD's - both maintained with itunes. I'm not in the habit of buying music on itunes though as I like to own the actual CD.

I'm thinking that if you downloaded items to your good lady's ipad from the app store by entering your apple id that just means that you will have paid for them. However they will only be available to her via her itunes account etc which is why you won't see them on any of your devices.

Have you set up iCloud, https://www.apple.com/uk/icloud/features/

You could also sync all your devices to your mac.

It's all ok now. It took a few hours to recognise my right to download my iPhone apps to the iPad.

Thanks for the replys folks. I spend last night syncing everything and backups on iCloud and in the mac. Very happy with the iPad but my better halts retina display is better for watching movies but mine is more move aroundable!
