Thank you - that is a beast!!!! I think I'd set it in "extra rain" mode! Why didn't they make monsters like this when I was a teenager, a long time ago????

Bang on, feels like a mountain bike with a bloody big v twin strapped on
Have to say modern ecu's are impressive very docile and easy to ride unless you open it up

Nearly bought a used one to keep the GS company. Instead have ordered a GT to replace the BM. Was blown away by the KTM when I had a test ride. Cant wait.
Had a S1r, and on paper supposed to be just as quick, but on the road the 1290 feels faster.

Mines in the shed with 64 miles on the clock, looking forward to the salt going. What satnav bracket is that, KTM or aftermarket ?

KTM, bought from the states including shipping and taxes it was still 20 quid cheaper than my local dealer
