New Autocom bluetooth

Fitted the NEW autocom bluetooth to my ProAvi Duo today as its supposed to cure the auto answer problem, while fiddling around i got it to work but am unsure how to pqair it properly with my Zumo 550?

Do i bt the phone to the autocom bt ,then bt the zumo to autocom?
or

do i bt autocom and phone to zumo?

will the zumo send music via bt or do i still need cable?

I think the best way is to BT the phone to the Zumo and then BT the Zumo to the new Autocom dongle. That way you can control the phone via the Zumo if you need to.

That should work, the zumo does double bt connection??

The autocom kit is bike powered and kept in a tank bag so can be swapped between bikes, so have to unplug power when not in use , am i going to have to keep pairing everything??

Connect the phone as a phone and the Autocom dongle as a headset. Have a look in the user manual, page 45 and 46.

Well I have my Super Pro Avi on a switched feed so power is cut when I turn the ignition off. I have the older style, non A2DP, BT dongle and it doesn't need pairing each time I do that. So I guess once paired it'll stay that way until you tell it to do otherwise. I have no reason to assume that the new dongle will differ in this respect.

AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!

After a visit to a very helpful man at Motorbike Adventures I have taken the bluetooth back to the shop and gone back to cable!!

Either got good quality music and poor phone or good phone and poor quality music,couldnt get both!! tried various different ways of setting up and connecting!
POO!

Now i have just cable connection to zumo and bluetoothed i phone 3gs to zumo!

Now i can hardly hear callers but they can hear me ok!!

Will this frustration ever end????
