New bash plate?

Has anyone successfully teamed up a more substantial bash plate with the Avant Fender Extender on a GS?

The OE bash plate can probably be improved on but clearance with the Extender is obviously critical.

Thanks for any suggestions, I fancy something meaty

Altrider, or Black Dog Cycle works.

The Altrider one fits with a little bit of fettling, round out the front edge (ie bash it inwards towards the engine) to allow the fender to move past it without touching when it's on the centrestand and there'll be plenty of clearance when its on the ground.
