My battery was getting a bit slow, time to replace.
Noel suggested Multicell in Broughton Ashley, they have a Gel battery to fit , slightly more Ah for about £25, has the same 'top' posts as Hawker.
I will pick it up tomorrow, i thought that was bl**dy good

Thanks Noel !

Glad to be of assistance, if you want some bits of angle call me again I can drop a couple of bits off to you,the worst bit is just making the post adapters.
I have had mine for 18 months and no problems at all, It eliminated the ABS not ressetting and fitted really well in the battery tray.

Hi, all thats required is two small bits of aluminium angle drilled in each side so it makes the lugs as on the original, as I understand this is exactly the same setup as the hawker battery.

Have you got a part number for the battery please?
No sorry, either take the old battery with you and/or call them with the measurments and the pole layout (i think that all the GS batterys are positive on the right (L0 layout is the technical identification). The battery is a Squdron GEL type or AGM battery. I usually talk to Geoff on the counter but any one will help you.
