Show us the interior?

Why did you go for vertical rather than horizontal? Lower temperatures at the top?

Start a proper thread on the Food and drink section?

Al

Didnt know was food thread

Lik vertical for simplicity and and less work

Add water pan and control temp easily

Le GSTro.......... A section on its own

For all the "foodies"

got good use out of oven last year

need finish it off and insulate it btu works great

Have a similar smoker but the smoke temp was too high and ruined a few salmon... I know run the smoke from a separate source through an aluminum pipe to cool it down.
Have the material bought for pizza oven too, just gotta build it. You've a very nice setup

I suppose depends on seals on drum. Too hot temp means coals too hot so dampers opeb too much

But do know most woulnt smoke fish on them as they best done with a cold snoker not hot smoker

But i do knoe takes good few goes to learn catch temp on way up theb hold it

I plan just throw some cheap oily snd fatty meat on to run it to learn its ideal setup and season it

Oven was food fun build

If was re do it id takr more time at top dome instead rushing to finish it as looks a mess inside

But hey it works and if anyone wants stick head in to check st full temp go ahead

Just heads up, breeze blockd are great base indulation and 10mins to lay plus cheap

No need mix vermacrete for base insul

Brian

I am looking building commercial one so if knoe anyone with small farmets milk trailer let me know

Has been mentioned about a pizza run

Nice job that man.

I bought a smoking cabinet a few years ago and thoroughly enjoy the use of it.
I use the ProQ Cold Smoke Generator to make smoke. It works a treat.
I smoke; trout, salmon, haddock, cheese, boiled eggs, chillis, garlic, meat...
