Hello,
I've a strong feeling this type of request could become quite regular from different posters....anyway..


Brought my gsa end quarter last year, now ready to do some 2009 ride-outs on it (and leave the Divi-9 in the garage) apart from...well I do not know anybody locally and mrs dxtans is not up for it at this time of the year as a passenger.

Does anybody fancy it, at some point shortly.

I live in Essex, by the Darford bridge.

I'm up the Road in Chelmsford and it's that time of the year when I want to start getting out on a few rides.
I know some good routes, when do you want to go out?
 
I am just up the road at leigh on sea.I go out most Sundays for a bimble.Let me know if you want to meet up any time.PM me or leave a message on this thread.Look forward to meeting you sometime.

Sounds good to me guys, how about next Sunday ( assume it an't raining) go for a ride and a coffee.
Could meet up in the middle somewhere ???

Sounds good to me. What about 10am in the carpark next to the bridge?
Maybe followed by a bimble out towards Ongar, Leaden Roding, Dunmow and Finchingfield for a cuppa:nenau

That's good for me, I like the destinations. (That'll be the carpark, where the pub and mill is, I'm guessing,)

Physiojo and I live just up the A13 from you. Can't do Sunday's, but happy to take a Bimble on Saturday. THe lighter evenings are not far away. We could take a nip over the bridge to Eynsford and do some of the back roads and even a byway or two. Let me know

Have a look at the regular meets. They just about muddle along. We go up to Whitewebbs when we have time to go anywhere. Always good to see another GSer. Why not let your wife have a look at the Heels on Wheels section. Lots of girlie talk there.:blagblah It is very pink!

I had a Divvie before coming over to the dark side. I liked that bike but it is not a GS. Enjoy the new bike and some new playmates. :beerjug:beerjug:

Sorry you cannot make it this Sun. As a general rule Sat's are out for me. But will pm you when we have another ride, and you can pm me when you have a ride.
You're right about the divi , it ain't a GS, but they are reliable and I am still rolling with mine at 110k mileage.

The weather looks good for this tomorrow, dry and 11 degrees. A couple of VFR owners I know might come along for the ride as well.

Cheers Kev, I really enjoyed having the bike out for a few hours and it was nice to meet you both.
Low point of the day was gate crashing Jade Goody's wedding :toungincheek, high point for me was the road to Finchingfield followed by tea and bacon butty :drool

Really enjoyed the ride to-day, and as mentioned , meeting up with Jades Goody bash as well was well...

Need to do this again, it was fun !
