Well, it was meant to be plain sailing but not quite. 
I originally booked a 2pm Stena sailing but turns out I needed to get home in the afternoon. So rebooked onto the 9am ferry which would have me home in time. Rebooking fee charged to reschedule.
On the road by 5am this morning to make sure I made the ferry.
Into Holyhead by 8am, happy days. Stena ferry first delayed by 3hrs and then cancelled. Unhappy days. Told to get the afternoon ferry I had changed from! Pain in the hoop.
Popped into the terminal building and was able to book onto the Irish Ferries sailing which was already in the process of boarding. Happy days again.
Now to get my refund from Stena. This should be fun!. But at least I'm homeward bound.
